Charles M. McCurdy, Jr. M.D.

Dr. McCurdy graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine prior to completing a residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Arizona Health Sciences Center and served in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology prior to moving to Fort Myers. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He has served on numerous scientific and clinical committees, has given many scientific presentations and has authored over thirty articles. Dr McCurdy has special interests in prenatal diagnosis and fetal echocardiography.








William F. O’Brien, M.D.

Dr. O’Brien completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale after graduation from New York University. A fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and tenure in the Navy was followed by over twenty years in academic medicine. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and has served as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has published over one hundred and fifty scientific articles and has received numerous awards. He has special interests in invasive prenatal diagnosis and multiple marker screening.

Mark C. Williams, M.D.

Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Practice at the Western Medical Center, Santa Ana, Ca. His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, Ca. preceded a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of South Florida. He is board certified in Family Practice, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Williams has published over fifty scientific articles and has a special interest in prenatal sonographic diagnosis and fetal growth pattern analysis.

Judith Krammer, M.D.

After graduation from Queens College in New York City, Dr Krammer attended medical school at Semmelweisz University School of Medicine, Budapest, Hungary. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Ma. She subsequently completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical Center and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of South Florida. Dr. Krammer is board certified in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She has served as a Director of Satellite Outreach for Children’s Medical Services and the University of South Florida Fetal Board. She has provided numerous lectures and authored over fifteen scientific articles. Dr Krammer’s special interests include medical problems in pregnancy and management of the fetus with birth defects.

Sharon M. Salamat, M.D., Ph.D.


Dr. Salamat graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine after completing a doctorate degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the same institution. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, followed by ten years in academic medicine. Dr. Salamat is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She has publications in the clinical and basic science literature, and has served as a reviewer for both. Dr. Salamat has special interests in preterm labor and immunologic/inflammatory complications of pregnancy.
